Brett and Madeleine met in April of 2021 when Brett started working at Dataminr, where Madeleine had been hired just a month before. Madeleine often reached out to new hires to take 15 minutes for a quick welcome video call, and naturally, she reached out to Brett right away. Little did he know, but Madeleine fell in love in the first five minutes, and they talked for almost an hour. Despite it being their first conversation, it felt like she'd known him for years. The two were inseparable and spent months becoming best friends before officially dating in July of 2021.

Fast forward four years and the two were recently engaged on top of a mountain in Alaska (very on brand!) and are looking forward to welcoming their loved ones to celebrate their next chapter.
